All I wanted was a bowl of soup.
The cafeteria upstairs whos soup is both cheap ($1.64/12oz) and flavorful (lots of salt) for some reason had created TWO cream based soups leaving those of us who find cream based soups vile to rot.
I only had $1.70 in cash and I’m too cheap to use an ATM that doesn’t belong to my bank.
So. Off to the local "let’s rip off the rich business beople" food pit to get soup. Turns out you have to spend $7 to use a credit. This, I found out only after pouring the soup into my container.
I am now the proud owner of a 12oz container of beef/barley soup, a 20 oz diet pepsi, and two packs of gum (@$1.50/ea).
This is ridiculous-all I wanted was a bowl of soup.
